MEET
ZACH OXENDINE
Zach is a devoted husband, veteran, and Rock Hill native whose heart is in this community. From his local family roots to his tech career he combines a neighborly spirit with a life dedicated to serving others always.
Growing up here, Zach learned that every voice matters, a lesson reinforced by his fluency in ASL and his background in a family of deaf parents. He is running to ensure every child feels seen and supported, just as he does when mentoring the bright young minds he's led in his science, technology, engineering, and mathematics camps.
HEART FOR ROCK HILL
OUR NEIGHBOR AND FRIEND
From his time in the Air Force to his career in tech, Zach has focused on helping neighbors achieve their best. He is far more than a name on a ballot; he is a veteran and friend who sees our schools as the core of our community. He is running to support the very town that poured so much into him growing up.
STEM CAMP — ROCK HILL, SC
GIVING STUDENTS A PATHWAY
While serving, Zach started a small program to help local families buy school clothes, shoes, and supplies. That grew into STEM camps serving more than 150 high school students from over 30 states, connecting them with universities, employers, and career opportunities. Zach has partnered with Winthrop University and York Technical College, organized a collegiate hackathon, and spoken at more than 25 schools and conferences.
